I have replaced both front spindle oil seals on my L355SS but they continue to leak oil pretty bad---to the point I have to top off the lube in the front axle housing before every use----I followed the steps in my repair manual but still did not get it right----any words of wisdom from anyone...

I am new to the site and have an older L355SS--the 2nd/6th gear has a broken tooth and needs to be replaced-----I am wondering if I can split the tranny between the front and rear halfs and access the broken gear by pulling the countershaft from the rear of the front housing?????---any help...
