I have a BX withe the Kubota quick attach. I welded up a bar with nothing but a 2" receiver and some chain hooks. You'll find a ton of premade can holders for 2" receivers...or did what I did and make your own... You can bolt a 2" hitch to you front bucket... backhoe...pallet forks...zillion...

Yup...just need to slide it forward a inch or so...just enough to slip out the drive shaft. Speaking of which... check and replace the boots on the driveshaft while you're in there.

It's not too hard to do...done it twice.

They make 3/4 inch tube without the weld bead. Or you hog it out. Still a good suggestion. Time or money.

3/4" bolts. Pillow blocks are rated at 2900 lbs each...so roughly 6000 lbs a side. Looks like 1" cylinders. -Mac

For $20 for the set on Amazon I'm willing to roll the dice. My guess is I rip them off the frame...it's .125 wall tube...or less.

I'd buy the everything attachments one if I had to do it again. The land pride is super light weight...which makes some sense with a BX...but it's too light weight...I've bent the frame...ripped and peeled the hinges off twice...if this fix doesn't hold I am stripping off the hydraulics and...

So this is my third and hopefully last hinge repair on my grapple. I've ripped the hinge off the frame, and bent the strut on the jaws...mostly on the left side. The hinges on the frame finally wallered out and this is what I did to fix it.

My Everything Attachments grapple on my little BX25D hooks up with inside pins to give me more range of motion... something else to consider.

I had bits of one of my damper seals stuck in mine...took awhile to pick the little chunks out...and then rebuild the tilt cylinder...

Doesn't hydraulic fluid pick up moisture over time? If I bought a 55 gallon drum and I used 3 gallons a service...let's say 3 a year...12 gallons...it would be a 4 to 5 year supply... would that do ok sitting around that long? -Mac Sorry for the hijack...

Well I think I need to pull the whole transmission. Pretty sure the chunks on the oil plug didn't come from the back.

That and buying 5 gallon pails is cheaper than smaller quantities. At least at my stealer. And imho always keep a set of filters on hand. You never know when you might poke a stick through something...and you're always ready for the next maintenance. -Mac

Ok... finally had some time to rip it open. First off...I topped off the hydraulic fluid and it moved! Just a tiny bit. But it moved! I was going to check pressure on the ports...but then I cracked the drain and a silver sludge gooped out. Question to the peanut gallery...replace these swash...

My guess is the second filter by the engine is a JIC the fuel pump starts breaking apart.

Add three inch spacers...makes a world of difference.
