The Super Duty's 6.7 seems to be a decent motor. With 1,500 lbs in the bed it was getting 22 mpg.

I don't know if that will work or not. I have a third function remote on my L5460 for just such an occasion. One would think that what you are proposing should work, I have never tried it though.

I got a Stinger relay for the auxiliary panel to be fed from. IDK why I didn't think of tapping an ignition switched fuse.. And hindsight being 20/20, I should have went with circuit breakers instead of fuses. Now to find a pod to mount the switches in.. Always something to look for.. lol

lol!! Yep, you were definitely tired when you read it.. I didn't think it would pose a problem, and I plan to be very tidy about it. Oh, and the reason for the lighting on the FEL, it is for the grapple at night for trees downed from storms. :) Thanks!

I am going to run an auxiliary fuse panel for my add on lights and would like them to be key switched. Do I use a relay to switch the battery power to the aux fuse panel? The fuse on the key switched is only 50 amps, and I am not quite sure how much of that is already taken by the factory...

My grapple is made by Blue Diamond, but for the most part they are all good no matter what brand you go with. I second you investing in some pallet forks, they are very versatile! I just traded a L4600 for a L5460.. The 4600 did quite a bit of work for us.
