    B6200 won't turn over

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I removed the negative cable (which I replaced in January when the tractor was given to me) and recleaned the frame connection, removed the old positive cable clamp (also new last January) and replaced it with a new one....greased all the connections and...

    B6200 won't turn over

Thanks, guys....I have the day off and will dive into it this afternoon. Hokie, you're right it was an older battery that I substituted so that could still be the issue. I'll follow up later, thanks again everyone. Brian

    B6200 won't turn over

Hi all, I've never had an issue with my ancient little tractor not starting until now. When I went to start it the other day, it turned over slower than usual, then it just made a loud click and nothing. Charged up the battery but same results, swapped out another one to rule out the battery...

    Anyone wax their tractor?

I can only speak for myself as to why I'd wax my tractor. Suffice to say it's a combination of waxing everything I've ever owned that had wheels going back to my sweet purple metallic Sting Ray and spending many years as a professional detailer. This summer a friend gave me a great little...

    Anyone wax their tractor?

Yup, I've put the buffer to the fenders, which I'm not refinishing. Guessing I'm not the only one who's used a clay bar as well?

    Anyone wax their tractor?

I have a an old B6200 and I'm doing a very simple restoration which includes hand polishing most of the painted surfaces, a little at a time. To watch the sun fading disappear and the true colors come back is inspiring enough to keep me going to the next panel. Once completely polished and...

    B6200 axle seal repaired!

Thanks to the tips I got here, replacing my rear axle seal was an easy job. Taking lsmurphy's advice, I used 2 sheet metal screws to pull the seal and 76 Bronco was right, a lot more oil gooped out. I cleaned the axle, wrapped it with saran wrap, took the new seal out of the fridge and...

    B6200D rear axle seal

Sweet! That'll be so much easier and I don't have to pay for a gasket, either. Much appreciated, my Kubota brethren. I'll post the results after the job is finished. Thanks, Brian

    B6200D rear axle seal

Thanks for the advice and the picture, you guys. So just to clarify, the axle cover has to come off (draining the fluid first and cleaning the screen), then the circlip has to come off the axle so the axle can be removed because the seal goes on the axle at that end....correct? Or...

    B6200D rear axle seal

Hi all, Firstly, I'm grateful to have found this forum, it's already helped me quite a bit as a rookie tractor owner. I fell into owning an older Kubota, a friend with no time for maintenance just up and gave it to me. It's a great little tractor and a big help around the property, and I've...
