Hi Sam, I have an old L-1500 (L-175), and I live in Baja Mexico. Spend several hours a day on OTT, But don't post often.

Has anyone replaced their Kubota fan with one that has more blades to increase air flow? I thinking about one from air-conditioned compact? Any comment/suggestion? SmokeyS:confused::confused::confused:

The previous owner made wheel weights out of 1" steel plate 18.5" in Dia, weighing 27 Lbs each, with 3 on each rear wheel, held flat by square tubing. Three suitcase weights for front @ 60 Lbs each.

All of the body tin is off so my L-1500 can start a new life. First mechanics, then body and paint. Tough decisions - work on Kubota - cut bait or go fishing. Southern "Sea of Cortez" - I hate snow!! :p:D:rolleyes:

Okay - I'm seven miles from "Tropis of Cancer" it is hot in summer and this old tractor comes without water pump. Hate to work it in loose sand, overheat it and crack head. Water pump and temperature gauge seams like cheap "preventative insurance"! Thanks, Smokeys

Has any one found, modified, or tried to use a electric inline water pump to boost the cooling capicity of their radiator. Please tell me more, or any additional suggestions.

Has anyone been able to add power steering to a L-175. I have a lot of weight on tractor, # 400 gannon box, # 280 suitcase weights, # 360 rear wheel weights, # 200+ operator, but it has traction. Would appreciate any leads, parts list, and or pictures Smokeys
