Look at your fuse box .....should be a fuse marked AUX or something like that.

If in doubt - have meter hooked to rear leads....pull the fuse.....

Im guessing 15a or 20a

rule 2 - place tractor in neutral ! Why? you can grab a rear wheel and push/pull a couple of inches when needed!

On things that are heavy - placing even a 2x4/concrete block under certain places will allow the "movement" to be better handled.

I too have faced the almost impossible task of hooking up the 5'...

Shipping is often a deterrent - like as much as it cost for the ROPS.....unless you can get it along with something else Kubota is shipping to your local store.

When you get 'er fixed = tell us what was "broken" and what the $ damage is ....so the next person to do this will have an idea of cost to fix.:)

I agree with the oil plug too.

Does it start ok with glow for a bit? Or does it huff and puff and blow a lot of smoke before starting and once running?

When running are you getting blow by ?

Actually one should do both - both within spec's - not too much spacer and not to much fill. Both allow the CG to stay as low as possible, 2" spacer and 75% fill make a hellva difference that is felt...
