I have been looking for a bale spear to fit my LA1251 loader since I purchased my tractor a couple years ago. I have had no luck. Wondering if someone out there has one or know where one is located that is for sale.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if you have forks or not. If you do them one can be built fairly easy. I made my own to go on my L 3000 and it works fine. It was much cheaper than a factory made one and I have had no problem at all. I just remove my forks and use the back plate to mount my spear to.

If the loader has the skid steer type detach on it then anything that will fit on a skid steer will fit his loader. If he has forks already one can be built for less than $100.

Hi Tim, been doing fine. I have been in Ringgold working on cleanup after the tornado went thru a couple of months back. We had one hit in our neighborhood this past weekend and so I have been at home this past week cutting trees and fixing fence. I'm thankful that my family was safe and all the rest of the stuff is just stuff. It can be fixed or replaced.

i have a 1251 loader on my kubota with the kubota brand quick-attach. i took my bucket to the local welding shop to let them measure the attaching points on the bucket and then make me some hay forks. they did a good job and as i remember it was about 350.00 out the door....al
