Rear bonnet removal on a L2501

Yes I did. First tip is go on Messic's website. order a NEW steering hub nut. Trust me, eventually, you will need it. Next tip is to pull the plastic cover off the steering hub. Should pull right off. I think it is a 17mm nut, if memory serves, loosen that nut but do NOT remove it. Take it...

    Rear Hydraulic Ports?

So when I bought my new L2501 a short while back, I did NOT get the backhoe. Not regretting that part, sort of, but I let the dealer talk me out of having the rear ports and the valve set-up. I would like to add it for use with a Hydraulic Top Link specifically for my Box Blade but also maybe a...

    Chainsaw Holder?

I like the idea of the Byte Tyte saw scabbards. made of aluminum, a softer metal than your blade so it won't dull it, and holds by clamping on the bar. It also has no holes drilled so you can do you own mounting as your need it. They make them in different bar lengths or the universal one like I...

What have you done to your L2501's?

Right Side Grab Handle is NOT listed anywhere in the L2501 parts catalogue. Can anybody please advise a part number or criss cross on model tractors?

    Raising the dead.

It would be a COLD DAY IN HELL before I would live any place where I would need a FRONT and REAR mounted snowblower at the same time. JEEZ!

    New l2501 In Central KY

One more thing. When installing this stuff you will, depending on your tractor model, need to remove the steering wheel. kubota's tool for doing so is about 750.00 if i remember correctly. Screw that. Back the 17mm nut off ALMOST all the way. Enough to protect the threads in the shaft. With a...
