    Land Pride blade nut

Well, I gotter done. The $120 impact wrench along with an extension and a 1 11/16 socket loosened each nut after a minute or two. Much easier than I expected. The old blades were in really bad shape and now the cutter doesn't vibrate like it did.

The impact wrench I ordered is rated for 900 ft lbs and works from my Dewalt 20 volt batteries.

    Land Pride blade nut

I received a reply from Land Pride this morning. My cutter has 1 1/8" nuts that require a 1 11/16" socket. Now I'm hoping the impact wrench I ordered can loosen them.

OK, now I'm thinking about ordering a 900 ft lbs 1/2" drive impact wrench from Amazon that will work with my Dewalt 20 volt batteries. I'll also get a 1 11/16" socket and an extension, all impact rated. I can get all that for about $150 and I'll be happy if it works. I'll let y'all know.

I'm thinking about getting a 20"long 3/4" drive breaker bar and using a long cheater pipe to hopefully break the nuts loose. Lot's of liquid wrench may help. I'll also need a 8" socket extension to reach down to the nuts and whatever size socket that fits (???). Why did I think this would be...

Yes, that foot that needs to be wedged against something solid could be a problem. I may could chain it to something.

I broke about two inches off the end of one blade.

I looked at this set and it does have a 1 1/8" socket, it does not have the 1 11/16" socket Could you show a link or description of the torque multiplier you used to loosen your cutter nuts?

    Land Pride blade nut

I bought a new Land Pride RCF2072 rotary cutter in November 2020. I need to replace the blades and the manual that came with the cutter says the nut is 1 1/8" but the U-Tube videos for this model say it is 1 11/16". I need to take everything with me when I go to do this and will have to buy the...

I assume many of you have side by side ATV's. What's a good new one in the $15-20K range with 4WD for hills? A lot of guys seem to like the Mule.

I never thought about that being a good place to store a chain but being cheap like I am I'm going to see if a bungee cord stretched on each end will hold my chain.

    Timbers for forks

I don't have a pic with the timbers but they go over the top of the bucket when it's angled down and under the horizontal pipe brace just behind the bucket. It's wobbly but I've done it a few times since I don't have actual forks.

    Timbers for forks

8 ft landscape timbers fit into the FEL braces and act as forks for lifting light loads. I've moved deer stands. Anyone else do this?
