    Should i be concerned???

Hey Thanks!! Jim L., The hour meter quit working at 1111.4 back in 19??... I have put about 50 hours on her since I had it (FEB,2015). And D2CAT, I think after today's workout, I'm gonna tear things down (within reason) and check the obvious. Thanks all for the advice!!

    Should i be concerned???

Hey all, I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere but I feel the need to get an answer as soon as possible. I own a B6100 standard trans, 4-Wheel drive, sportin' an FEL. I know they claim HP to the rear PTO at or around 12, but I think It does better than that. With that all...

A little help would be great!!

Thank you all for the advice!! I guess I could sell everything and start over... Or I could just sell the "big" stuff and get things that WILL work with my 6100. I just wish there was a way to increase HP to the PTO... Oh well, I guess it's back to the drawing board....:(

A little help would be great!!

Well all right then... I hate to say this, but the equipment that I have in my possession probably wont work for me. I'm trying to figure what to do that will benefit me in the end. I have about $4000 invested in everything including my tractor! I'm looking for a way to mow my 5 acres in...

A little help would be great!!

Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice. I was recently blessed with a trailer full of equipment (attachments) from my uncle that he no longer wants to deal with. With that said, I currently own a B6100 4X4 with an FEL which isn't a very "heavy" tractor. Now, the equipment in question is as...

    Have you ever tried this???

Greetings!! I just did a search with no avail, looking for a post from someone that may have tried to build their own tooth bar for a FEL. Has anyone ever tried to go out on their own and build their own tooth bar? Any tips or ideas?? I have priced these things outright and they...

    Flail mower / brush hog...

Wow... Thanks "Philztoy" for the advice! I definitely don't want to put money into something, on top of paying for it, just to do somewhat the same thing my brush hog will do. On the the other hand, the less vibration would be great too... Do you think my B6100D with claimed 12HP to the...

    Flail mower / brush hog...

Hello all... What is the difference between a Flail mower and a Brush hog? Which would do best in old high grass with sticks and small thorn bushes? I currently own a 48" Land Pride brush hog (recent purchase) but I also have the opportunity to purchase a flail mower rather cheap. Just not...

    Adjusting Brakes...??

Okay, sorry... I have a 6100D. The issue I am having is when I press both brakes, the tractor is slow to stop, also the E-brake will not hold the tractor, I have to lower the FEL and raise the front wheels to guarantee stopping movement.

    Need advice asap!

These are all GREAT responses! Thanks for the time you guys spent on this. I'm still "under the bridge" on this... I can pick this up for $400... I DON'T want to buy something (too large) then end up having issues with my tractor. I have a FEL and 4X4 which would compensate for some of...

    Need advice asap!

Good evening all, I am sure there is an answer for my question somewhere on this forum, but I am rather short on time.... I have until tomorrow afternoon to make a decision on whether or not I purchase a tractor implement from a neighboring farmer. The fella just turned 88 years old and...

    IS POSSIBLE or IMPOSSIBLE??

My FEL is run from the hydraulic block next to the break pedal. I was just thinking about the future (when running remotes). I kinda thought having remotes in the front would better assist me if ever I used a dozer blade or something. The more I think about it, you are right, I should just...
