Is there interest in a DIY Loader Kit for B6100/B7100?

Hello everyone, I see there is some interest in B6100/B7100 loaders of late and I've come to a decision. It's just not cost feasible for me to offer a a kit at this time so I intend to do something else If y'all are OK with giving me some time to get the CAD files tidied up I will publish...

Is there interest in a DIY Loader Kit for B6100/B7100?

Hello Everyone, Sorry for the long time since the last, life gets busy. Additionally, the sharp increase in the price of steel has pretty much scuttled the idea of doing a for-sale kit. Nonetheless, I wanted to share a couple of pictures of my progress: Fab is almost done, plumbing is done...

Is there interest in a DIY Loader Kit for B6100/B7100?

Thank you Lil Foot and Wolfman. plenty to think about, fair points made. I've no dreams of getting rich from this, I'm just looking to offer options for the community, knowing there's not much out there for us. I will update this thread (and start one at TractorByNet.com) when the actual...

Is there interest in a DIY Loader Kit for B6100/B7100?

Not sure if this is the right area of the forum to post this. After a few years of fruitless searching for a loader for my B7100 that wasn't way too expensive, or just a pile of bent rust, I decided to design my own. It is a quick-attach loader, with a lifting height of 6 feet and a lift...

B7100HSD snowblower size, 60" too much?

I agree with Wolfman. I run a 51" blower behind my B7100 and when the snow gets wet and sticky it's slow going. I would also be careful of the weight of the blower, Steering can be tricky especially if you don't have a loader or some weights on the front of your tractor

    WTB B7100 HST Front axle

Thank you, sir. I fired off a parts request but they don't show a B7100 in their salvage inventory. Fingers crossed.

    WTB B7100 HST Front axle

Still looking for front axle components for my early B7100HST. The front left knuckle had lots of play, opened it up and there's no bearings or bevel gears in the housing, some monkey was in there before me. Dealer wants $1200 for the bevel gears and i haven't found anywhere else to get them...

    Noobie with a b7100d

First off, your front/rear tire ratio is for a B7100. A B6100 has 7x16 rears and 6x12 fronts. If its a 6100 you will have binding issues in 4WD.

    Kubota gas generator

I own a little Kubota A450 genset, it's reliable, fairly quiet and reasonably easy on fuel (it's only 450 watt after all). I have plugged all sorts of "sensitive" electronics into this old beast without ill effect. One of these days I'll hook a scope up to it and see how noisy the thing is...

    B 219 loader fitment

Amen! I read the other thread on this and the subframe mods wouldn't be all that tricky. You'll need to extend the rear plates and (possibly) move the center mounts, which are just bolt-ons. Nice and easy.

    B 219 loader fitment

It will fit with a minor change, the sub-frame will need to be lengthened a few inches as the HST trans is a bit longer than the gear type. Apart from that all else should fit fine as I understand. Of course you could always send it up my way and I can "dispose" of it for you :D

Why would you need a back-hoe for typical non-comercial owner.

Last December I passed on buying a L1500 with a backhoe because it was pretty beat but also because I couldn't see a need for a backhoe attachment. I then spent Christmas day and the day after swinging a pick through frozen ground looking for our septic tank. I ended up having to wait 3 more...

Could you put d950 pistons in a d750?

I'm no expert here but wouldn't the outside diameters of the cylinder liners (and the i.d. of the bores in the block casting) differ between a D750 and a D950. If they were the same it would make for mighty thick liners in a d750 vs a D950, wouldn't it?

    wheel rusting around filler nozel

This is what damage from calcium chloride looks like. I ran into this on my B6100, See: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9586 Your rims may be better or worse, you won't know until you're in there.

    WANTED: B7100HST Front Axle

Looking for a 4 bolt wheel front axle for my B7100HST, preferably in the Pacific Northwest or BC/Alberta as I'd prefer to pick up over paying tons for shipping. Thanks
