I pull a 6' LMC land leveler with My L3901 HST.. I pull it in 2WD up and down hills and never have any trouble. Even with the scarifies down I never have traction trouble with R-4 tires. I feel like I could go to a 7' or maybe even a 8' without trouble.

What is the average price for a WSM for the L3901hst?

Just did the 50hr service on My L3901 Friday Myself. Not bad at all. the dealer told me to keep the receipts for the stuff purchased for it in case warranty needs arise. It cost me about $140. The dealer wants $325 for it.

I thought I read in mine that the fuel filter needed to be changed in mine, maybe I'm mistaken. I'll second check. Thanks for the info guys. I'll be tackling the job this week. When changing the HST filter do I need to prefill the filter? I always prefill My oil filters to prevent dry starts...

Do You have to purge the fuel system after You change the filter? If so, I have never had to do it on a tractor, how hard is it to do? It doesn't call for the Hydraulic fluid to be changed, just the filter.

How much does the 50hr service usually cost at the dealer?

Thanks for all the replies guys. Sounds like its gonna be fun to change the hydro filter. Well its due so its gonna happen. I'm not at 50.8 hrs. I read that I need to change the fuel filter too. How complicated is that and will I have to bleed the system afterwards?

Thanks guys! The manual says only HST filter to be changed not the fluid yet. I will buy the filters and oil from Kubota then and change it. Anything I should know about the HST filter change?

I am about to do the 50 hr service on My L3901 hst 4wd. What motor oil should I use? I know I have to run Kubota filters. Is there anything else I should do when I tackle this job? Will this void the warranty if I do the first service Myself?
