It's been a well since I posted but I'll try to more often. I think any Kubota is for work and it make it fun. I hope to give my BX24 a real workout over the next two years. I'm plaining to build a 40' x 50' RV garage with work shop. I'll try to post pic's along the way. Tom

The motors can take over 2000 PSI. Most of them are slow, look for a faster one. The one I used is 50 years old. had the line made at hose supply. About $150 in the hole thing. This is one place to get parts. http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9-7076-50&catname=hydraulic

I put them on all four for snow removal. The BX doesn't weigh much. I can put down force on the blower so the front chains help me steer.

You should lift with the loader. I know a little big for a BX. However it did move one. I relay cut them in fourths to move to the fire wood pile.

The set switch only works if the PTO lever/switch is engaged. Tom

I have a BX24 with a BX2750D blower. I go though about 6 auger bolts and 2 fan bolts a year. These blowers for their size are vary high performance. I had a problem getting the bolts at first. The local dealer said the bolts where $13.00 a Bolt. I told them that it was $13.00 for a bag of 10...

There are a lot of ways to do a hyd chute rotater. This is one I made out of an old hyd. motor. I also made it so the chute can go 360 rotation.

For snow I use chains front and rear. I think because the BX24 is not vary heavy and I use a front blower I need the chains. When the blower is going throw snow it tens to take weight of the front. The chains help me do walkways. I what to try adding weight to the front by fill the tires...

I have a BX 24 with a BX2750D blower. I made a shout rotator. You need to use the white and yellow couplers for the up and down on the blower. I us the 15w 40.

You can put it on the rear. A friend did that to a BX1850. You have to take off the gears that slow it down but it was easy.

I have a 6ft blade on my BX24. If you shorten the top link it may make the swing.

Has anyone put a top and tilt on a BX24? I have a grader blade for it and would like to add hyd. to it. Thank, Tom

Yes, we had 3 to 5 feet over the area. My little BX did great. I've only levied in the mountains for two year now. But I owned the lot for 20. I have to work in my garage but hope to build a shop, like Wildfire. I wont be able to retire for about 4 more years so I have time.
