Yes there is a threaded plug as shown in the drawing - takes a 17mm Allen - I used a 1/2 drive version with an extension. Problem is the Kubota block heater part #70000-00297 is to small for the threaded opening in the block. I’ll call the dealer Monday and see what other options are out there

So it would appear that it was simply not cold enough - disconnect the coolant sensor and it seems to work fine. Also tried the trick of putting the shifter in Neutral and the shuttle in foreword and cycling the key - I can hear a relay click - I will try to get a meter on the glow plug relay...

Nope I cant hear anything when I turn the key.
