I tore the boot off the front tie rod (I think) on some hidden fence wire. How big a deal is this? Can any recommended what I need to do fix it? Is it as simple as putting the clip back over the boot?

This ones interesting. I’m a pretty big guy but I’ve never had my thighs hit the loader lever. How does this happen?

Am I the only one who when they have a load in the FEL drives in Low and keeps the bucket as low to the ground as possible until needing to use it?

Today was the first day I’ve really gotten to use my root grapple. Wow. I got the hang of it pretty quick and in no time was digging out a clump of ligustum and honeysuckle. Also used it to clean up tops of some trees I recently cut down and didn’t want to mess with sorting.

Thanks - I’ll cycle it a bit more but will go with the expectation that it’s designed to not be in sync.

Do you think a 425 pound front implement would be ok on a B2301 and still leave comfortabilty for some medium logs and brush to be moved around?

Interested in a 60” Loflin vertical root grapple for compact tractor - the price is $925 - for a slightly used model. This price seems low and something seems off - am I right to be suspicious? Also, I have a B2301, will a 365 lb grapple be too heavy for that tractor to use effectively?

I Im definitely under an acre of turf to mow. Maybe I’ll see if I can find a used MMM for this thing? Or a cheap Deere on FB Marketplace?

I was really close to getting a RFM for the 2301. Still might. I love the idea of only one machine to maintain.
