for info, problem sorted. I checked the timer relay and the solenoid and all was well. I then started the engine and wondered if the solenoid wasn't pulling back the cut off enough to stop the engine instantly and sure enough it was, by manually pushing the arm back just a few mm more it...

Did a full service on mine, all oils, filters and replaced a cracked body shell. She's looking good. Looking to get a snow blade made now.

Ok so a follow up When I got this I took the high lift collector off and this opened a switch. I tied a zip tie around this to close it and the PTO runs ok now , quite obvious really, to my embarrassment. All of the safety switches must be interconnected so that the condition is right to engage...

Thank you Idaho Wolfman. I have checked the seat connection and all seams to be ok, i will check again for any adjustment and see if here is a switch. As for the fuel solenoid, are these fixable or is it a new unit?
