    Backhoe Pads

Never mind, just looked them up and saw that they were a bigger pad like I made. I was talking about a pair of rubber pads for concrete.

    Backhoe Pads

When I purchased my BX-25 about 7 years ago I bought the "pads" for concrete and black top from Kubota. Put them on and they sank too much in the mud. Modified the original pad for more surface area and have never put the pads back on. But I have not needed to be on the black top to dig either...

    Need a hydraulic guru !

I'm guessing sucking air and cavitating. May have sucked some air because of bad suction line and then took the pump out. I don't know how to check that except disassemble pump and inspect or replace. I have seen bad pumps that are cavitating heat up quick, like after two minutes of idling they...

New Tractor just how do you fold down ROPS

x2 here. Wouldn't budge without loosening bolts, but they are lock nuts so when you get them loose enough to lower ROPS, leave them adjusted there. They become a pivot pin.

    BXPanded Hydraulic kit

Pressure and volume are two different things. The shim kit increases the pressure that your pump puts out, that does not increase the volume of fluid that it moves. Maybe run it at a higher RPM? That will increase the volume up to the point that you are now limited by the fitting sizes and hoses.

    sharpening backhoe bucket

Went to BXpaneded, a little more than I want to spend. I only have a couple more stumps on the property to get out and not getting the ripper doesn't meen I won't get them out, just that it will take a bit more. Haven't got a chance to get back out there, it's been raining all week. I don't like...

    sharpening backhoe bucket

My problem is that I am dealing with Douglas Fir. I have to dig down to the roots before I could try and rip them.

How long does it take to switch from the bucket?

    sharpening backhoe bucket

The last one I dug that size took a bit to get it out of the hole, and once I did I just rolled it to the burn pile. Come to think of it, that was about four years ago and there is still some left in the burn pile. I just keep working it down. I'm sure it would burn better if I covered it...

    sharpening backhoe bucket

Anyone ever try this? I'm about to go dig a stump that kicked my butt two years ago. This time the ground is a little wetter and I sharpened the side of the bucket. Got some good bites on some of the old Doug Fir roots but the little BX just doesn't have enough power to rip them out. Granted...

    lifting Mower deck for cleaning

Not sure if you have the room to do it, but my well is next to a storage shed. I measured how far between the spindles for the blades and built a little manifold out of copper tubing with pipe caps at the end that I drilled at a 45 degree angle. basically a sprinkler head with alot more volume...
