    Kubota Finance Question

The only other consideration is when you finance with Kubota they require you to have the kubota insurance. For me this was not a big deal because I wanted insurance for my brand new tractor anyway and the cost was comparable (a little better) than what I could get elsewhere.

New L2501 on the way, any advice as far as what to be on the lookout for?

Many larger cost items can be added later after you you have some experience to see what you might want and need. The cheap things that I would add right away are the inner (extra) air filter that was mentioned earlier and an additional hand grab for the right fender (unless Kubota quit being...

    Disappointed in BXpanded

This is funny because I am having this discussion with my "just graduated" adult-teenager. I have been lecturing that being an adult is saying what you will do and then doing it. Someone (e.g. boss, customer,...) might not like it if you say no, or this is when I can do it. But it is much...

Drive Train warranty,,, we pay 25%??

Sounds like you caught him with his hand in the cookie jar. So, He was telling you worst case scenario... 1) Why wouldn't it be (and be processed) under warranty. I have never had a "discount rate" presented for warranty work 2) Wow, What a great deal on service that they only charge you 25%...

    Time for a purchase of a L2501

A couple of low cost upgrades that are needed: 1) Get a right side fender handle (it is stupid that they do not come with it!!) 2) Put some bucket hooks on. I went with Ken's bolt on bucket hooks and they are great. Good luck. I always say that you should not love anything that doesn't / can't...

Pine Needle Rake - EA, Titan or ?

After much thought with the same question I ended up with the titan. It works great. I have some video but cant figure out how to post so I just took some screen shots for before, during, and after. All the dead stuff was gone and the live grass (little that there is) is still there.

    L2501/3301/3901 hours and repairs?

I had a similar (same?) issue with my L2501. It would run good for about 20 - 40 minutes and then would drop in power. It was especially noticed if I ran the tractor and then dropped the RPMs down near idle to get off the tractor. After about 5 minutes when getting back on the tractor never...

Skids for FEL bucket for snow removal

I have used the edge tamers and they work great. I does leave a very small amount of snow as the blade rides above the gravel. I don't think the 1/4 inch of snow left behind is a big deal. I am sure the other options work well too. I went with what was easy and quick for me. The edge tamers...

    Two Schools of Thought

I try to always help. Just because that was how I was raised and I have to or I still feel guilty if I don't. As far as equipment, I made my wife tell me I could not lend out the tractor when I bought it so I can always say "my wife made me promise not to lend it out". Also, The best advice...
