Update for anyone interested - I spent some time today - not really a big deal - taking the "step" out - maybe 10 minutes work really. Worth it only from the standpoint of cleaning out a bunch of schmutz accumulated underneath - around frame rail etc - must be 1" of debris all around linkages...

well, my days of shimmying underneath anything were spent out on the ramp lol. Things just dont bend like they used to. I really like the suggestion in the next post and may make that a winter time project. Thanks to all for the input

boy u folks are great. With the name "step" was able to track it down - and it sure looks like easily (famous last words I know!) R&R - at least it looks like the tractor wont fall apart if removed. Getting to the age where I dont want to crawl around too much underneath. I'll try to report...

Just wondering - pulled up rubber mat under drivers feet today - (and really needed cleaning under there!). Does that metal "floorboard" remove easily? Looks like it should - maybe slide back from under front edge around where batt sits etc. just seems like it would make it easier to get to...

Well i'll have to look at it again but i tried to be careful and keep both sides clean before hooking it up - every time. Thx for the input tho

5 year old BX2380 w LA344 loader. Lately been seeing leaks at 4 hose quick disconnect - when loader is attached. Not all that bad, but I hate a leak. Seems like it might be the QD getting a bit cocked when locking in place, but I dont know any way to make it go in any straighter - line it up...
