I mounted a linear actuator on the snowblower, took delivery in early Jam. first chance i got was today, tomorrow if the weather holds i'll wire it up. I took it off the tractor i traded. We had some pretty good snow storms, missed the actuator, but nice to have a diesel.

i have a t1770 with snowblower, it also has a (i think its a berco enclosure) does anyone else make these. thanks, Jim

what does the alternator put out, and what does the heater and lights draw, if they draw more that the alternator can produce then nothing goes back to the battery. secondly a battery tender might be in order. obviously check for corrosion as mentioned.

i'm a bit handy, i think i found one on the surplus center, their p/n 5-1577-6 linear actuator, the mounting kit 5-1577-b total for parts $96.90 plus $12 for shipping. a friend gave me a switch. i need to take some measurements before i order it.

si have a t2740 snowblower for a T1770, i would like to add an electric chute control option. i was amazed after calling a supplier for the actuator alone... it was $689.00 this is insane. my question, how do you determine which actuator to use. any help appreciated.
