    Hydraulic Top Link

Mine's a 2 x 8.25 from Surplus Center, I think. It's been bombing around in the shop for so long I forget where it came from. Fits perfect, the length range overlaps the stock manual link perfectly. Did have to grind the tractor end connection width slightly. No need for fancy colored hose...

    landscape rakes

For what it's worth, I run a 6' King Kutter rake behind my B2601 with no problems. I use it angled on the gravel driveway to pull the gravel to the center and as others have said for prepping lawn areas. A 5'er seems way too small for an L2501.

Windshield washer fluid - where to buy?

It used to be, but not anymore. You know, everything going on it the world today!

I got my Rigid 377 from Zoro a month ago for $125ish shipped to my door. It's 100 times the tool that SpeedwayMotors tool will ever be! Not sure how I've been around 60 years without knowing about eccentric flaring tools. The Rigid tool works flawlessly, even with a newbie using it. I'm right...

    YATF

Seems we're on the same wave-length Dan. Mine's not as sophisticated as yours though. I went with the Rigid flaring tool and a HF bender. Had this all laid out with hoses then remembered the bunch of scrap tubes I had laying around. Steel tubes down the loader arm and from the solenoid valve...

Thanks Dan! The thought that the mount system was your work crossed my mind shortly after I pushed the post reply button. I've been trying to decide what to do with my 2 open remotes and I like the couplings with the integrated dust covers. But the 2601 certainly does not need a 1/2" coupler...

    YATF

Wow, too bad that website is so sketchy, that's exactly what I'm looking for for my rear remotes. Dan, does Faster offer a set up like that in a smaller size? Not sure the B2601 needs 1/2". A digging I will go!

    B2601

Love my B2601! Looked at Kubota's for years but made do with a repowered Case 446 and a shop built FEL. The Case was getting tired and Kubota was offering 0% financing so it was time. My only complaint is the price of a Kubota MMM, so go with your flail plan. We've got 24 acres here and could...

    Suggestions

Totally agree! Most despised part of my tractor. So glad it's not just me and my big feet. The mat needs to be at least twice as thick. Fordtech86 that's not a bad idea and I think I have some of that material laying around here . . .

Need a debris fork for pine needles

I built this years ago after I built the loader for the Case 446. Needed something to clean waste hay out of the winter goat pen. 3/4" bar stock with the ends cut at a bevel, welded to a piece of strap to keep them spaced properly. Back end is 1/2" by 1" bar stock with angle brackets bolted to...

    Generic Power Beyond Questions

Thanks for the second set of eyes and advice Dan. I was playing with 3rd function valve mounting locations last night and remembered the PUMP>3RD FUNCTION>LOADER VALVE from this thread. Started looking at how that would make nice short plumbing from the pump to the 3rd function valve if it was...

    Generic Power Beyond Questions

Per the B2601 WSM, the first relief valve in the system is in the loader valve. Item 17 in the attachment. If the 3rd function was placed before the loader valve on this machine it would leave the pump unprotected, correct?

    Generic Power Beyond Questions

Sorry, Soopitup, I don’t mean to hijack this thread but there is a lot of good info here and I’d just like a little input from Dan on the placement of valves in the PB chain. Dan, I’ve been following along with this to help me better understand adding rear remotes and third function valve to my...

Kubota b2601 MMM and 3 point hitch

This is why I asked the question about an independent mower lift in my post, here. After using it some, I've found that the deck lift happens in the first couple "clicks" of the 3 point lift . Meaning the deck is lowered before the 3 point arms are lowered significantly as ItBmine noted above...
