    BX2660 Engine oil.

I run Royal Purple synthetic 10w40 and a K&N Premium Gold Oil filter... a little overkill, but you can never been too safe.

    Snow blade or blower

I've got a BX2200 and I use the frontloader and rear box blade with the scarifiers removed, and it does a wonderful job. Last night I had about 3 1/2 inches on my driveways, and used the box blade to gather up the snow in a pile, then used the frontloader like a snowplow and pushed it into my...

O rings for hydraulic couplings on BX 25 Back hoe

Same thing go for cotter pins, shear pins, etc... most of this stuff can be found at hardware stores and automotive shops for a lot less money and hassle.

How to use tach drive on Kubota D662?

You can buy electronic tachs... for a reasonable price... tiny-tach makes some good ones.

    BX2200 Engine Oil Capacity

I spoke with my Kubota dealer, and they said as long as it's within those two marks it don't matter. They said if you really want to put it up to the top notch, it doesn't hurt, and it might make the oil last a little bit longer, as there is more oil in the pan. They said 3 is fine if you don't...

    BX2200 Engine Oil Capacity

A few days ago I changed the oil on my tractor and used a K&N filter on it. I kept checking the oil, and it seems as if it is a little less than 1/2 way on the dipstick. So naturally I did some Googling, and found that many owners add 3 1/2 quarts. So that being said... what do I do? Add more...

    Did before winter maintainance...

I like snow... outside my window. Not when I have to drive in it. It's funny... I've been sitting back thinking of where to put my snow with the Kubota. Good thing I've got another month or so before I got this little problem. My neighbor has a New Holland TC25 and he builds snow mountains for...

    Did before winter maintainance...

Oh you bet... it can't come quick enough... :D (Though not looking forward to driving my 2wd truck in it... too bad I can't slap some plates on my tractor and drive it to work. :p )

    Valve Adjustment For BX2200

Yeah, roughly in the 800-1000 hour range is a good time to check. I think at 950 hours, it was the best time to check. It does run noticable smoother, and it seems to produce a tad less smoke at start up.

    Did before winter maintainance...

That's why I did mine now... because I know in the winter time, I got other projects that are way more important than my tractor. Plus I need my tractor for snow removal.

    Did before winter maintainance...

Thanks... I'd rather do it now, when the weather is comfortable. Yes, the new seat is made of a much nicer material. It's a breeze to put on, too. It's also very comfortable.

    Valve Adjustment For BX2200

    1 - IN - 0.004" <--- Worst 1 - EX - 0.005" 2 - IN - 0.006" 2 - EX - 0.007" 3 - IN - 0.005" 3 - EX - 0.007" I adjusted them to 0.006" across the board. Right in the middle of Kubota's specs.

    Did before winter maintainance...

I enjoy working on this machine... and I enjoy using it even more! :) Adjusted the valves... Put new glow plugs in... Put a K&N filter on and some Royal Purple SAE 10w-40... Put a new seat on... Took the deck off and popped the box blade on... Me messing around with moving some stuff...

    Valve Adjustment For BX2200

Well, I did the valve adjustment according to specifications above. The tractor runs a lot better. It was, for the most part, very easy to do.

    Front Loader Operation

I've heard of air in the lines... but after about 20 minutes worth of use, it should be out. I've changed the fluid completely out on my BX, and never had a problem with air in the lines. It sounds as if the replacement fluid might not be working out causing your cycle times to be off when using...
