L35 won’t move, help needed to diagnose clutch or shuttle or both.

Thanks all. I was aware you could change gears or the shuttle without the clutch but was not aware of the increased wear. It’s been a great machine for years with no real change or any issues until now. There is no play in the clutch pedal currently but I did not check the PTO, will do that...

L35 won’t move, help needed to diagnose clutch or shuttle or both.

Dave_eng, Thanks for the reply, no the pedal feels the same as it always did. They told me they were changing gears without using the clutch, not sure how they were changing the shuttle f/r. It seems like there just may not be any clutch material left? Would I feel play fo that was the case...

L35 won’t move, help needed to diagnose clutch or shuttle or both.

Hello all my old trusty L35 finally has asked for help. I lent it to a neighbor and they were working it hard and it started to move slowly no matter what gear and then stopped moving at all. Nothing at all no matter the gear or forward/reverse. The clutch pedal feels solid in and out but has a...

Show those home made snow plow setups for front end loaders, bucket mounts, etc.

I have a Kubota L35, standard FEL, no quick attach. I want use it to plow and want to maybe buy an old truck plow and mount up. Would like hydraulic angle l/r if possible. I am not looking for new purchase as I don’t have the cash and love tinkering and building. Want to see some setups either...

    Stiff Three Point Lever

On my L35 the lever has a nut and washer on the pin that the lever hinges on, I had to just barely loosen that nut and mine freed up. Oil before did nothing. Just got tight over time, my nut is the self locking nylon bushing type (nylock) L-35 JD 2010 Lots of other useful junk

    Price Check please

Looking at brush hog and rear blades used. I like old metal, not shiny and thin. Would like some opinions on what these are worth. Deck on mower needs some welding, not sure on blades but the gear box spins. Blade looks solid just a lot of rust, the blade itself is not fully supported but is...

Best way to tie down a tractor?

Like others not here to argue, but you can't simply just add these together and say you have combined weight rating for tie down. The reason the laws changed is because of people doing it wrong or not doing it at all and causing accidents. I'll describe just one of many possible situations...

temp gauge and glow plug indicater

Glow plug controller is under dash, the light should come on for a few seconds. Could have bad glow plugs, controller or both. As for temp gauge, mine never moved and I found the wire came off the sensor. It is on the engine head close to firewall, single wire. Mine is on the passenger side of...

Tooth bar and wear bar on FEL bucket?

I recently purchased an L35 and the previous owner gave me a brand new Kubota wear bar, was pretty Orange for a few minutes after I installed it. Then I bought a bolt on tooth bar. I had to remove the wear bar to do that. My question is can you have both on at the same time? I don't like that...

Has anyone tried to extend the exhause pipe?

I have an L35 and it has some hours, so the old pipe just dumped above the tire flared forward. It rusted out and I got a sweep 90 from Autozone and welded on. It dumps now just above the tire and I think I might use your idea to add a small angle to point it forward. Sent from my iPhone...

    Temp Gauge L35

So I dug in and found that the wiring harness on that side of the tractor is a ball of crap. Wires hanging stripped, stuff not connected. I need to look up a wiring diagram and get to fixing these wires. Just got this recently so I am still working out bugs.... finding some interesting nests...
