I use the 3 also. I even wear them over a thick wool toke/hat. I CA still hear the engine in the background. I would recommend the 3M, if you haven't already bought them.

Made this "rock box" out of some scraps I had around the house. I made it because I had a lot of rocks on my property to pick up. The rocks are to heavy to lift by hand and to light to roll easily into the front loader. I pick the rocks up with the backhoe and place them in this rock box...

Replaced the hydraulic pump but can not stop it from leaking where the two delivery pipes attach. I have the workshop manual, but it does not say if I should use some type of spray on gasket. Would anyone have a suggestion? The 3 bolts are torqued down, but still leaking.

I have an M59 and the boom drops suddenly during operation. The problem ,is most prominent when the oil is cold , but still happens, when warm. I replaced the pressure relief valve on the boom spool valve, but no change. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does any one know the size of the freeze plug in An M59?
