    Kubota L295DT wiring diagram

I need a copy of the wiring diagram for an L295DT with a four-wire alternator (not a two-wire generator). Thanks!

    L295DT wiring harness

I fried my wiring. Shorted out the ignition harness, Need to replace it. Can't even figure out how to remove the cowling to get to the wiring and the solenoid. Anyone been there, done that? I could use a little guidance! Thanks, Jim.

    b2710 front wheel problem

My B2710 makes a kind of whirring noise that gets worse and louder the faster I go. It is coming from somewhere around the front right wheel. I opened up the housing and saw that the main wheel bearing is fine, and the gears I can see look great too. The noise is somewhat intermittent, but...

    Slips when pulling a load

Thanks for the comments. I'm going to have to do some experimenting. It's a little time-consuming since I need to put the plow on and go plow something. Maybe I can recreate the problem by just chaining the tractor to a tree...

    Slips when pulling a load

At the pedal there is one inch of free play before there is any resistance by the clutch. Yes, it easily moves out from a stop in the high gears, just as you described.

    Slips when pulling a load

No, there are no fluid leaks. Not sure what is meant by "heat or grease-type issues". Any way to check that out? So does it boil down to the clutch? The tractor is a 4wd direct transmission. There seem to be three ideas: 1) transmission/hydraulic fluid (the suggestion is to replace it and...

    Slips when pulling a load

I'm back. I have two tractors, so when one isn't working I can use the other one, which keeps me busy but takes my attention away from the one that needs fixin'. From reading the replies so far, I'm still most attracted to the hydraulic filter/fluid change solution. First of all, if it is a...

    Slips when pulling a load

I have never changed the hydraulic fluid or the filter. That is very interesting about what could possibly slip, it makes sense to me. As for the sound migrating, I guess anything is possible. I will definitely change the hydraulic fluid and filter, though, give it a test and check back in...

    Slips when pulling a load

That's a very good question, because I really only plow in low first gear, but I'm pretty sure it happens in any gear because once when I was driving it home it was slipping then too (on slight uphills). The really strange thing is it is intermittent, and also I hear it below or behind my seat...

    Slips when pulling a load

Here is an un-diagnosed problem I have with my L295DT. It is an intermittent problem. Mowing, tilling, using the front loader the tractor runs fine. Some of the time I can plow a whole field with it. BUT, sometimes when plowing it just won't drag the plow. I hear a kind of whining, slipping...

    Crank Case plug problem

There is an aluminum plug on the side of the crank case of my L295 DT. It is about 3/8 inches in diameter. I think it is there as a safety feature in case of excessive pressure. It blew out a couple of months ago and I replaced it. Now it has blown out again. Rather than just pound another...

    L295DT Clutch Replacement

If it were the clutch wouldn't the "grinding" sound come from that area? The noise I'm hearing comes from somewhere to the rear. Any ideas what might be making that noice when I lose power to the rear wheels? In general, thanks for your kind advice and great offer. When I figure out what...

What to buy - HST or Gear ?

I have a B2710 (27 hp) and a L295DT (29 hp). The 2710 is HST and the 295 is gear. So I can really compare the two, since the hp is so similar. The HST sucks up a LOT of power, but gives you a terrific edge when it comes to zooming around back and forth doing things like loader work, wiggling...

    L295DT Clutch Replacement

Hey, Dusty, it probably seems like a ridiculously long time to get back to you, but oh well. I have two Kubotas, one a B2710 plus the older L295DT. Most of my implements fit the little tractor (barely), so I've been lazy about fixing the L295. Plus it still does lots of chores fine, just...

    L295DT Clutch Replacement

The clutch on my L295DT (4WD) is slipping and needs repair. I'm on Whidbey Island in Washington. The nearest (not so local) mechanic said the labor alone would be $800. It would probably cost me a couple of hundred dollars just to get it there. So I need to repair it myself. I'd like to...
