Best quality pins and cotter / lynch pins?

Any thoughts as to the best quality pins and cotter / lynch pins for hooking my box blade or landscape rake or brush cutter to my L3901? I've had a few cotter or lynch pins fail and come close to having pins slide out as a result.

L3901 - lower links with built-in quick attach?

Thanks. I'm not a welder (yet), and welders are few and far between where I live. I was hoping to be able to buy an existing product...

L3901 - lower links with built-in quick attach?

I've tried the Pat's - not thrilled. I know that with a lot of larger tractors, the lower links have quick attaches built in. Why not for compact tractors? Has anyone seen such a thing?

20 year old, Agri-Ease haybob - no shear pin or clutch?

This will be my second year haying. The first time around I was a total beginner. This year, I've catapulted up to not-quite total beginner :) Last year I didn't even know to think about shear pins or slip clutches. Now that I have a few different PTO devices, shear pins and such are on my...

    L3901 tie-rod, possible over-greasing question

As I understand it, I should add grease to all the grease points on the FEL until I see grease seeping out the sides, correct? But how about the tie rods? I'm worried that I might have tried to jam too much grease into one of the tie rod ends - I guess those grease points don't seep? If that's...

    standard hydraulic hose diameters?

First off, thanks, I appreciate all the feedback! In an earlier thread, @TheOldHokie said that some hoses are more flexible than others. He specifically mentioned "Gates Megasys MXT" vs. (I guess?), standard R16 hoses. There just is NOT a lot of room for these hoses between the QH15 and the...

    standard hydraulic hose diameters?

wow! is it common for a single fitting to have one standard at one end and a different standard at the other end?

    standard hydraulic hose diameters?

I've attached a picture of a hose with the correct fittings. (The hose pictured is too long.) The 90 fitting on top is listed on my dealer invoice as 1/2" male, 1/2" female The 135 degree fitting on the bottom has a smaller diameter. The unattached fitting in the middle is the same diameter as...

    standard hydraulic hose diameters?

right! it's really the size of the fitting i'm after! Is there a common 7/16" fitting, or do fittings general jump from 3/8 to a 1/2? Again, the female end is meant to attach to a top or tilt hydaulic cylinder. And it's the female end fitting I'm trying to figure out, I've got the male fitting...

    standard hydraulic hose diameters?

I have rear hydraulics for my 3901. I have hoses that run from a plate on the tractor to top and tilt cylinders. I know the fittings at the "wide end" of these hoses are 1/2" male / 1/2" female. The hose fittings are a bit narrower on the end that attaches to the cylinders. Are there standard...

Shovel holders, coat racks, and so on, on my tractor?

Agreed, services like duck duck go and google are great! I was wondering if anyone had any hands-on experience with tool holders.

Shovel holders, coat racks, and so on, on my tractor?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I'd like to be able to hold a shovel and a jacket (at least) on my 3901. Does anyone have any recommendations for holders like this for sale? I could swear I've seen vertical tubes attached somehow to the tractor that you just put your shovel into?

Boxblade: Got the "pitch" and the "roll", how about a little "yaw" ?

Yes! I've been doing that, and it's better than nothing. I do have a landscape rake and it's more versatile than I thought it would be, so I'm going to give that a try as well.

L3901, top and tilt, and QH-15: trying to configure the hoses, still.. argh!

Ok, I think I've got it. I'm going to use this setup for a while, and if it looks good, I'll post a picture of my so-called "solution". many thanks for all the suggestions!
