Thanks for the reply 85Hokie. You were spot on with that posting recommendation. Checked the bottom nut and it was loose, thus causing the throttle lever to idle down. Still need to purchase the nylock but for now I tighten the nut until I visit the hardware store. Thanks again

Can't maintain rpm, when I let go of lever the rpm drops to 1500-2000 rpm not enough power to remove snow. Have to hold handle to maintain 3000+ rpm. I have a new BX model
