sounds like my situation too. I was able to push the seal far enough in by hand to stop the leak and drive back to shed. I didn't think to check the vent. I'll do that now.

I spoke with Kubota Service manger, he had not seen this happen before. I pushed the seal back in and tapped it in with plastic faced hammer. Replaced the lost oil (about a gallon) and so far its staying in place and no leaks. Just weird that it came out. There is no signs of anything catching...

Thanks! I keep the ROP down so it makes sense it could have fallen off. And the ROPs knob is broken too. That piece must have bounced up off the floorboard and landed in the axle lock shaft. PS. Regarding "looking too clean" - that photo was not of my tractor - I just grabbed it off a Kubota...

Here's the little bracket or piece I found. It was found at the bottom of the slot for the axle lock foot lever. I didn't see anything obvious to attach it to looking around the foot linkage/slot where this bracket may have come from.

There was a small U-shaped bracket sitting in the slot for the rear axle lock on my BX2370. I looked around in that area and don't see anyplace where this bracket should go. The bracket is about 2 inches wide x 2 inches tall and 1 inch wide with a hole in one side. I should have taken a picture...

What brand bead sealer are you using - or recommend?

I keep the air pressure up (around 18 to 20 psi on these tires). However, maybe not good enough - as I come out and find the tire low at times. I've used slime before on my riding mower (before I went to the foam) and it didn't work that well. It still leaked and it was a mess to clean up. But...

Thanks for the advice. I did foam fill my little riding mower tires (15 x 6.00) and the change in ride quality was not noticable. I think they weighed about 25 lbs each after filling. I'm not too concerned about the "ride quality" of the BX going to foam - however if it beats up the frontend...
