It won't come out until you remove the upper snap ring. You need a good pair of snap ring pliers because the ring is hard to compress.

Did you take off case 190 and the gear 030 comes with it. And the shaft should drop right out. I have the same tractor and did both sides.

Go to tractor supply and get fenders for a trailer they have different sizes and cut one in half.

Seal in the steering cylinder leaking. had the same problem.

Go with the plastic pipe. I have it on my front blade and works great. Dosen't dig in.

I just got a seal kit. Part no. 7J267-63400. They recommend doing both cylinders at the same time. $112.00 a kit.

I changed my fluids to super udt2 from udt. What a difference in quick response. Quieter hyrdo noise.

Its your resistor. Changed one on mine same year. Its under the glove box. I think it was about $65.00.

I had the same problem with my 3130. took the cylinder apart and changed the o ring under the wiper seal on the center of the shaft. Know problems since. it looked like the o ring stretched and was letting the oil bypass.

did you get it fixed? i have the same tractor nad mine does it to. if you turn the wheel back and forth real quick it gets the steering working again. seems to build up pressure and works for a while. i think its a seal in the steering shaft. whenyou turn it i think it gets the seal warmed up...

i push snow with mine its a 3130 and have no problem. you have to let off the pedal some to gain more power. the harder you press the pedal the more power you will lose. if you still have a problem leave the bucket off the ground a little and make a second pass.
