I just rented a BX 25, I had the same problem, for me it was one of the two safety switches under the seat that was not fully engaging at certain times and the motor would sputter an then crap out or sputter and catch itself and run, clamped a clip on the switch and prob solved

I am considering buying a B21 or L35 and would like to hear from any owner / operators out there. I would use the machine for excavating around existing home foundations to install drainage as well as trenching and loading / moving gravel and sand. Would love to know the machines limitations...

$19,850 is too much for this B21 ???, If I bought a new machine it would have to be a larger machine than this B21. Just going to the Kubota website and pricing up a new TLB - the B26 ( 26 hp) or L 39 ( 37 hp) will easily put me in the 38000-48000$ range. Of course with the new machines...

The machine is mint, On any tractor website the prices on all the b21's range from 15000 to 20000, even for a United Rental beater the ask price is 15,800.

Hey B20barry, I am all for the B20's ! My search started for a B20 or B21 and has grown into L35 and L39's and now the L48....I know Ill take one of each! But the B20 is certainly a capable machine and I would be happy to own one.
