On the B6000 it should be just like my L1500, a single start / pre-heat switch, depending on position?

Yeah this one is always just been a single screen, it cleaned up really good. The photos I see online for my particular engine also show what looks to be a single screen filter.

Am I missing something, there is only that screen nothing on the inside except about a 3/4 in void, it's basically hollow?

Got some time to look at the hydraulic pump issue. Popped out the screen it wasn't very bad I had a few little bits here and there. Has new oil now. Filled the pump with oil put it back on. Nothing. Cracked the high pressure line at the entrance to the rear of the tractor, fluid squirted out...

Maybe? Both were replaced in March 209 with NGKs. Seems they should have lasted longer than that. The ones from Reliable fixed the hard start problem. On to the pump.

Well, it seems very odd, but I suddenly have not one but two bad glow plugs? Hydraulics stop working, engine stalls, hard to start=bad glow plugs? I guess there is such a thing as coincidence-maybe?

Who knows, is cavitation or loss of prime a possibility? Hydraulics is NOT my forte, it spins freely and the remaining oil in the pump 'flows'. I may partially submerge in oil and spin to see what happens. Fortunately, I got most of what I needed the tractor for before this happened. The...
