    L3800 Radiator elbow broke off!

When it rains it pours... So apparently Kubota raised their prices on parts so says the parts-guy from Lawneq.com and it's not $475+S&H not $399 delivered as it was last freaking week on their website!!!

    L3800 Radiator elbow broke off!

Well boys.... despite my good ol' college try the epoxy didn't properly bond with the plastic. I was able to pick it off along the edges and wound up pulling a good bit off with needle-nose pliers in my frustration to see just how crappy my idea was. Coincidentally I started thinking of what...

    L3800 Under Armor

After driving over some small trees I noticed my hydraulic filters had sustained some dents. I made this to protect it from errant limbs as well as anything I may drive over. I replaced the filter after fitting the under armor. I hope you enjoy!

$300??? Where in the world are you finding your radiators? I'd likely forego the hassle of the college-try if I could find one for $300. Red Rover, Red Rover, send the link on over!

    L3800 Radiator elbow broke off!

By the time I get all that set-up I could likely have re-installed the radiator. Would it be too risky to just run the tractor for a bit hoping it holds and shutdown the moment I see a leak?

    L3800 Radiator elbow broke off!

So here’s where I’m at... I’ve removed the radiator, cleaned the area, and then I used my soldering iron to melt/close the cracks running away from the hole. I added an epoxy used for nylon/plastic. I hope the photos work. Also, I figured I’d go ahead and replace all the hoses (coolant...

Engine warping.... I don't even want to think about that! The fiberglass wrap is a great idea! I'll try to get some photos up soon, the holidays and my kayaking trips may delay it some though. www.blackwaterpaddleclub.com

    L3800 Radiator elbow broke off!

I've decided to give it the ol' college-try and repair the broken plastic inlet with some epoxy. My only concern there is will the vibration & jarring cause a failure. I do plan to replace a few additional parts as well such as both radiator hoses, thermostat & gasket, rubber feet for the...

    L3800 Radiator elbow broke off!

So yesterday I was bush hogging and a mean-stick poked into my engine compartment right where the lower radiator hose connects to the lower radiator inlet and broke the plastic inlet pipe. Aside from why in the world it was made out of plastic.... Does anybody have the part number and a cheap...

    Clearing undergrowth!

Hello all... I've got an L3800 and I recently purchased some land that has about 7-8 years of undergrowth that I'd like to mostly clear as it was clear cut back then. I'm considering a King Kutter L60-60-HD and possibly a Wildkat tree shear to attach to the QD bucket (I do have front remote...
