Hello Expert's,

some Kubota's can be stopped by the decompression knob and some shall not. But am I using up the decompression assembly, if I alway's start with it? With the decompression the starter has an easier job, the battery is less forced and the engine start's faster, because of a higher starting RPM.

So what does the Experts say ??

Carl, If you are using the decomp to start the engine, either your tractors battery is weak, the filters are dirty, something is not quite right.

Decomp is used as a last resort, "I'm five miles away-stuck in a field-need to get back home" starting method.
