I have a B5001/5100 with 1250 hours in the clock and the operators manual calls for 10-30 oil for the engine. I see that new Kubotas are using 15-40 as are most diesel engines today. Is there a problem using 15-40 above 32F or 0C?

Steve, 15W40 is just fine to use in your Kubota. That's all I use here in our Service Dept, great all year round, great in Western Canada.

Comforting to read this from S.D.V...I can't find 10W30 Diesel-rated oil in my area, but I use Delo 400 15W40 in virtually everything else I own. And it's a whole lot colder up there than where I live...and probably hotter as well!
