Congrats on your new project. You should be done with that one in about oh say 20 years ;)

I understand all about that! Last Sunday would have been my late wifes and my anniversary. We would have been mostly in each others presence the whole time. I'm now a single parent to 3 girls. 21, 18, and 4yrs old. Yep a surprise but wonderful. As an older father things said by them will have a different meaning and expectations with it. You will cherish all of it!

As you can tell by my frequent visits here I'm hard at work on this new project. It's funny how much you forget about the growing process when you haven't watched it in these stages over the last 9 years. You expect things to happen faster, and then you hope they don't.
Our daughter is now 2 years old and I am 41. It's nice to be a little bit older, so you do it more relaxed. Until now she is a sunshine, maybe she is just collecting her strange temper for later...
The problem with her is just, how to get things done at the house/property, when you have to look after her. Until now she even don't like to ride with me on the tractor or lawnmower. Last weekend she managed to fall down the ladder of the slide, her first time. I was at the other end of the slide. Nothing happend, but she was not in the mood to play anymore. Needs hugging for half an hour...
Man, I am looking forward to the age she is operating the tractor...

Congratulations sir. You have one of life's greatest treasures. I have two who are now in the Canadian Forces but they're still my little boys. Enjoy every minute with the little one because they go up way to fast.
