Looking at buying a B8200D 4x4 Standard Trans. Haven't gone to look at it yet, but was curious if the 4x4 can be dis-engaged to make it 4x2 or rear wheel drive only. Also do they still have the Diff. lock on the 4x4's?
Thanks,
Phil

I Know there is a Lever to use 2WD or 4WD.
I am not sure about the Differential Lock though, I beleive there is one, but only for use when Driving in a Straight Line.
I am sure someone will Verify for both of us soon.

I have owned a b6000, a b7200 and a b8200. All had diff lock. The b8200 can be taken out of 4 wheel. Mine is a lever on the left hand side below and in front of the seat, up is 4 wheel down is 2 wheel.

Thanks bubbaboss and dusty-t for the info, unfortunately it sold in less than 24Hr. It was a prestine 1986 all original B8200D 363hrs paint was perfect included a 6ft blade. The guy was asking $4200USD. Talk about a deal, it went fast. Guess I'll continue fixing up my B8200E.

Too bad you couldn't have gotten your hands on that one. The good ones do go quick! Great price as well.
