Vic,
I am restoring a L1801DT thanks to your inspirational series on “Rattle Cans”. My local dealer has been very good about getting parts and paint as long as they think I have a L185DT. The question I have for you, is there any way to get the original decal for the L1801DT as the dealer decals all say 185 on them? Secondly is there any way to get the front light bulb socket that are plastic and lock into the reflectors? The plastic has completely deteriorated and the dealer can only get the entire light assembly at $60 ea. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Dan, Ya, I've been down that same headlight socket road a few times myself. I do sell an excellent Kubota aftermarket replacement headlight assmb, that includes the light, bulb, socket and of course the chrome trim ring around the headlamp that always gets rusted out.

No luck on finding an OE Kubota L-1801 Hood Decal set. I've attached a pic of an L-2000 that I recently sold.

I had a local sign shop screen these "Kubota Diesel" Hood decal kits for me. I can then use them on the L-1500, 1501, 1801, L2000 etc!!

Sell at $55/set.

I also had a version made for 4x4 Kubota JDM's that I could not ger new replacement hood decals for.

Here's a few pics of an L1801 that I sold in 2002 to a local acreage!
