my bota hosses have gone wild

up until today, the tac read 2950 with wot, today while plowing my neighbor
out i noticed that when i open her up with not much load, the tac reads
3400. maybe cut back on the oats??? seriously the linkage looks OK. the
throtle stop has not moved. is this caused by the govenor wear and it,s about due for a heart attack. SDV help!!!!

Ok, so what's different?

Are you now using a diesel fuel additive or Cetane booster, used any starting fluid around it, have any propane or butane in the area of the air filter intake, changed the air filter, lubed the tach cable, got a fuel soaked rag under the hood by the intake??

thanks Vic. i,m new to deisels. the part about cutting back on the oats
was a joke that turns out to be the truth. i had just fueled up and added
some HOWES DEISEL TREAT. i,ll have to put the cannary on my sholder
when i fuel up. LOL. she shur has the power and realy purrrrs nice. that pic
with the NOS tractor is impressive. thanks again.
