Hi, I'm having trouble getting parts specifically a front yoke. When I purchased the tractor I was told it was basically a 2004 Kubota L225-DT. But Kubota told me that parts for that tractor has long been discontinued. So I purchased a complete driveshaft from a Zen-noh dealer on line; I got a used, very old rusted unusable not the same shaft (I got shafted). Can you tell me what Kubota I have? here is my Zen-noh: ZL2000FD
Serial- ZL2000FD-14348
engine model- DH1100
HP - 20
Thank you

The kubota L225dt, which is close to the same as your tractor, was produced from 1974 to 1976. Probably very few ever came to north America. Some parts are still available from Kubota.

Jetblack,
List exactly the parts you are needing to get this L2000 repaired. I'll see what I have.

Thank you very much

Ok, we're talking about the drive shaft that powers the front axle, not the drive shaft that is located inside the front axle tube, right?
The driveshaft that powers the front axle comes up on Messicks Kubota part Number Look-up, although Kubota Canada is listing it as nla, no longer available.
Original part number for the complete shaft assmb, which includes the shaft, yokes and universal joints is 34218-44502, which changed up to 34218-44500.
Now, while this part is no longer available direct from Kubota, it doesn't mean that an individual dealer wouldn't have one sitting in his own "closed" inventory system.
A ton of emails can sometimes find that new old stock part.
A second plan of attack would be to replace the universal joints, part number is 66591-56320, and have a drive shaft repair/rebuild shop replace the damaged parts of the yokes you currently have. Trust me, Kubota didn't re-engineer a new yoke for this shaft. They used something from a Toyota or Datsun.
Take the shaft to a driveshaft repair/rebuild shop. Everytown that has industry in it has one. They'll have you fixed up by the end of the day.
