D1803-A or D1303-A???

What engine could be in my L275 with low rpm knock?
Did these have a history of low rpm noise or I'm I looking at
a big problem? :confused:

Your tractor should have a D1302-a engine. As far as the noise, it IS a diesel, they have a noisier sound than a gas. Probably normal but could be a problem too---- I'd have to hear it to be sure.
