front axle leak

i have a la481 it is leaking oil from the front left spindle area i have no shop manual or expanded parts list needless to say i need some help is this something i can fix myself do i need any specail tools and is there a seal kit that i need or is it just an o-ring help is greatly needed thanx in advance

I have no idea what you are able to fix yourself but the L3010 is really very simple. You will need a good snap ring plier but otherwise just normal tools. It is a sophisticated seal they use at that joint and care must be used installing it. Takes me about 1 hr per side to do that seal. Buy a workshop manual, They are a little expensive for that model but if you want to do your own work, well worth the price!;)
