I was mowing pasture and one of the front wheels came off. Before i have somebody come out or i haul it to someone, i thought i would get a service/ parts manual and see if this is something i could tackle with a friends help. ( i figure some type of exploded drawing might let me see what i'm up against)
I have a ZenNoh zl1500FD, is a manual for a Kubota L185DT what i need?
I'd be less worried if this wasnt a 4wheel drive machine.

If you can, try and post some pictures of your three wheeler. Specifically in the amputation area.

That front wheel/hub assembly is completley different than what you'll see and find on an L-185.
7 bolts will get the casing front off of the front hub, open it up. I'm thinking the stub shaft has broken off or the nut retaining the stub shaft has come off allowing the shaft to withdraw past the bearings.
Schematic attached, parts here. You're half done this repair already!!

Thank you Sir. I'll have to open and print that when i get to work.
Unfortunately i am unable to get pics up, but it looks like the wheel and the piece that has the wheel studs sheared cleanly off of the shaft that comes throught the hub. I'll report more tomorrow if time permits.
Btw, traildust, i did drive it back from the field on 3 wheels:D

No trick....I just leaned my big fat butt over to the good side:cool:
Anyway, from looking at the diagram, it appears that the disc shaped part with the wheel stud holes sheared right off the part that looks like a geared or splined rod. I am taking a guess that when i disassemble the hub (part # 2??) i may be able to weld it and reinstall it....
