BX mystery photo question .....

When I lift the seat , this metal hook/catch is just sitting there.
Doesn't contact anything under the seat mechanism .......
The Dealer didn't know what it was for ; any ideas Guys ?

That is where your owners manual is stored. it should have came to you in a black plastic folder which fits in there under the seat.

I've got the plastic folder etc , but that's under the long slit , what's
this heavy-weight buckle/anchor for ? It's on the 18 and 23 , but not
the 26 which has a different rear chassis member ........

Is it the latch to hold the seat down? Could you get a pic that is more zoomed out, and a pic of the underside of the seat?

It would appear that it's the most over-engineered paper clip
known to Mankind . The BX2660 has the paperwork in the seat,
hence it doesn't have the clip . I thought it was for a connection
support wire for the top-link of the 3pt when not in use ; like L series.

Mine had this holddown strap over the operator's manual.
