Dead battery revival

I apparently completely drained the battery in my L2850.
Jump starting with truck didn't work, so I'm wondering if something else is going on. Are there any special requirements to jump starting one of these?
Will an excessively dead battery prevent it?
Kinda screwed at the moment since it's back in the woods and in no position to be dragged out

Check for loose connections, if all else fails carry a battery in and swap. Good luck.
