hello again :)... i am trying to find where the steering gear boxand the steering gear case located on my tractor.... any help?

You're going to fail the tractor owners test that's comming up next week for all the First Year Apprentices!

It's located at the bottom of the shaft that's attached to the round black thing you steer the tractor with!!

That's the answer I gave on my test and Mr. K passed me.

well.... i thought tha was somewhere more easy to check the oils in there.... :):):):)

Look for a small square fill level bolt on the side of the case. Oil level should be at that point.

still looking for that thing.... is there any possibility not to have one? :confused:

Mine is hard to see. It's underneath the fuel tank.

Near the clutch pedal is a shaft (called the drag link) connecting the front axel to the steering box. When you turn the steering wheel you should see that shaft move. Hope that helps.
