If anyone has a set (4) of turf tires and wheels that will fit my L3240 I would be interested. So far I'm looking at having to pay $1,500 from a dealer and don't really want to pay that. I would need to get them to Upper Michigan. I'm in Canada but I border the UP Michigan border (Sault Ste. Marie). I need the wheels and tires as I want to keep my ag tires and wheels loaded and swap when doing dirty work.

I'd say get the rims from the dealer for sure and look around online or else where for tires. The dealer has a helluva markup on them.

I have a set of rear tires and wheels almost brand new tread on bridgestone tires. No front wheels though. Size is 29X12.00-15. Lug studs are 3'' apart and hub is 4-1/2'' around. I am in Texas so it may be a little hard to get them to you but I thought I would let you know what I have. A friend gave them to me but I have never even tried to see if they will fit my L2800.

I have a complete set of turf tires with wheels (3 rears & 2 fronts) that came off a Kubota L4150 4wd. The rears are 8 lug and the fronts are 6 lug. They will also fit a JD. I mounted them on my neighbor's JD just to see if they'd fit. A couple of years ago, I priced them from the Kubota dealer and if memory serves me correctly, they wanted over $2500 for a new set. 2 of the rears are in real good shape. I'll post some pictures if anyone is interested.

I will check the bolt pattern.
Do you know what the tire size numbers represent? My manual states that Turf tire sizes recommended are:
27 x 8.50-15
27 x 10.50-15
29 x 12.50-15-this one is closest to yours but what does the 12.50 represent?
Can you tell me what ply they are?

Sounds like the correct bolt pattern.

Can you tell me what ply they are? What brand?
Please post pictures showing tread and full wheel shot.
You mention that two rears are in good shape. Should I take from that the rest are worn some?

The rears are Firestone, 21.5L -16.1 mounted on 18" rims (I think means 18" wide) and the fronts are Goodyear, 29 x 12.5 -15 NHS. The 3rd rear tire is old, worn, and weather cracked. Yes, the fronts are about 50% at best. (note, there are 5 tires and 5 rims) I'll check to see if they have a ply rating on the sidewalls later today. It is raining in this part of TX today. Below are pictures:

The rears have a 6 ply rating and the fronts have a 4 ply rating

The 29 refers to the tallness of the tire the 12.50 is the width and the 15 is ths size of the rim. I am not sure of the ply but I would say at a minimum they are 4 oly but could be 6ply. Also they are a 6 lug tire, I forgot to mention that.
Can you tell me what ply they are?[

Sorry Pat, I have 6 lugs on the rear spaced 3 1/2 inches apart and the fronts are also 6 lug spaced 3 inches apart. The front might fit but the rears will not.:(

Paul,
have you found the tires you're looking for yet?
I have a friend who's got a pair of fronts turf tires on wheels and a pair of rear wheels that I think will fit.
What size farm lugs do you have now? Need to know that in order to know
what size in turfs so that the ratio stays the same.
If you could shoot me an email: cwtireal@gmail.com I can double check the
model they came off from as I have it written down at work.If what he has
will work I can probably hook you up with the rear tires too.
And best of all I have a good friend who's a tire dealer in the Soo (MI) that
I deliver to twice a week and he's always willing to help a fellow tractor nut
out.
Al
PS:need to know front and rear sizes both and it's helpful to know brand so I
can get the rolling circumference of them for figuring the ratio.

I have not found tires yet. My lugs are 6 front and 6 rear. The rear lugs are spaced 3 1/2 inches apart on center. I will get the current tire sizes and info and email it to you.
The manual suggests the following sizes for my tractor (L3240):
27 x 8.50-15
27 x 10.50-15
29 x 12.50-15
I'm looking to keep my ground clearance up so the 29s are my preferred size.
Talk to you soon.
Paul

Hello,
I have a set of turf tires that I bought for my L3650. Only used three times. Turns out I bought another tractor for my lawn work. I am located in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Its about a nine hour drive. Interested?

I still have the turf tires and would love to sell them. Below are a couple of pictures of the bolt patterns. The rear one (on left) with 8 holes is the oldest one that is on top of the stack. The other rears look better. The front rim is on the right.

I'm brand new on this group, so when, not if, I screw something up, I apologize. I have a set of turf tires which I removed from my L3710. I gave up on mowing, getting to old, however I need to move snow to keep my wife working, so I bought Ag tires. The turf tires are on like new wheels and I would guess they have about half of the tread left. The rears have liquid in them, fronts do not. I'm near Tomahawk, WI. I'd like $500.00 for the set. If you still need some and are at all interested I'll send pictures and sizes.
Thanks
