Have fiber type chips in hydraulic oil and a sticking brake. Any ideas?

Hi Bill,

You need to find out why the brakes are hanging up. It could be on the cross shaft under the RH footboard (grease the shaft it has a nipple) or you may want to disconnect the linkages from the pedal, and see if the brakes can be actuated freely by hand.

Any binding or inability of the brakes to release will wear them out real quick.

You shouldn't be able to see anything in that hydraulic oil as the L3750 has a canister style Hydraulic filter mounted to the side of the transmission case.

Has the fluid been changed and the filter serviced since you've owned it??
