I have a friend with a b7000. The steering box is cracked. I have been looking for a box and am aware of the repairs that can be make on one. I am not sure that the old box can be welded. Is there another model box that will work. The shaft does look to need bearing but is ok. I am looking at buying this tractor. I would like to know what u.s. Models are close. Looking for appro. Cost and would like to know if there are other things that i need to look at. (pto direction) It is an older model, 2 cylinder engin. no hour meter.

Edward, kubota canada has all the parts for that B7000 box, but you'll need a Government Bailout in order to buy them.

Box case is over $500USD, the ball nut and steering shaft is $700 and change.

The steering shaft.........Hmmmmmm?????

Thanks for the reply. I don't think the tractor is worth that. I may just keep lookint. I still own an iseki from japan that is still running good. Also good tractors for getting next to impossible to find parts. I may try to find a new model of kubota. They are good and hold up good. I must say that in looking or this, i have learned a lot about kubota and their tractors. It makes me want an orange tractor.

Thanks
