I have a Kubota BX1800. I need to remove the floor boards so how do you remove the cutting height control dial to be able to remove the floor board. The only thing keeping me from removing the floor boards after I unscrewed all the nuts and bolts is the dial. Thanks

The Cam Control Knob ( Height dial) for the deck raising and lowering mechanism is located on the LH side of the operators platform and will either be threaded onto the shaft it's on, or pressed onto the shaft depending on production.

I don't recall seeing a clip or pin on any I've worked on. You should be able to undo the nut at the bottom of the shaft (closer to the deck) and withdraw the shaft and the height control knob.

It's not threaded onto the shaft it appears to be pressed onto the shaft. However when I try to pull it off it doesn't budge. What is the best way to try to pop it off without breaking it? Thanks.

Hey there again - Vic is your best bet for an answer on this one. He's out in the shop during the day (earning his keep) but he typically shows up in the evenings to answer questions and give advice. Hang in there! :D

If it's pressed on, as some are, you're going to have to undo the bolt at the opposite end and draw the knob and shaft out as a unit.
