G'day folks

I am the proud owner of a used B6200, fitted with a 1.1m slasher.

What oil do I use in the gearbox and I can only find one dipstick to check the gearbox / PTO oil....

I have located the engine dipstick without any problems!
Please bear with me asking "obvious" questions, but I have no manual or suchlike and live 100km out of town

Best regards

Al

Al,

I'm thinking Mr. K and I need to sticky thread a post that deals with what oil to use in the transmission of my Kubota!

80W/90 weight standard differential lubricant was installed in the tractor at the factory, and is OK to use today, since you do not have a front end loader.

You may also use a gear oil designed for use in a tractor that shares it's transmission reservoir with it's Hydraulic reservoir (as your Kubota does), and you'll find it's a lighter viscosity but a superior lubricant.
